Jennifer Kryshka

Chief Executive Officer

Jennifer is a lifelong feminist who has worked in the Jewish community for over 17 years. She joined Herizon in 2014 as Chief Program & Operations Officer and became Chief Executive Officer in January 2019. Jennifer currently co-chairs the Florida Women’s Funding Alliance steering committee, is a member of the Jewish Women’s Funding Network steering committee and sits on the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Palm Beach chapter Board of Directors as the IDEA (inclusion, diversity, equity, access) Chair.

Jennifer also belongs to the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County and Executive Women of the Palm Beaches. She is a former board member of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. and former board chair of NARAL Virginia’s League of Young Leaders.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Central Florida and earned an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Florida Atlantic University. She lives in Wellington with her two children, Ezra and Ayla.

Jacquie Shapiro

Director of Finance and Operations

Jacquie Shapiro attended Keiser College for Business and Computer Network Administration before attending Le Cordon Bleu for Culinary Arts later in life. She has a varied career in both corporate administration and operations as well the food and hospitality industry. She has been working for nonprofits for over a decade and has found it to be the most rewarding, both personally and professionally. She has been a proud staff member of Herizon since December of 2017.

Jacquie was born and raised in South Florida. She was first introduced to philanthropy from her grandmother and has always had a heart and passion for helping others. Growing up it was instilled in her to always help others and be kind. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and learning and improving ways to live a more natural, sustainable, holistic lifestyle. She currently lives with her son in Port St Lucie.

Holly Carotenuto

Grants & Program Manager

Holly has 15 years of experience in social services and government work. Holly found her calling empowering girls and women as a mental health professional and advocate working with survivors of gender-based violence. In June 2020, Holly co-founded the Girls Coordinating Council of Palm Beach County. She is an active member of the Birth to 22: United for Brighter Futures Alliance and the Palm Beach County Sexual Assault Response Team Community Action Network.

Holly graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine with a M.S. in Clinical and Counseling Health Psychology. Holly lives with her husband and children (Santino & Tessa) in Loxahatchee, and she spends her free time traveling back home to New Jersey, reading historical fiction, and taking long walks.
